i am obsessing with pictures right now -- i guess i always am but i just got a new camera today and i love it. things are okay, average, semi-sweet, semi-upsetting. i am looking forward to love fest this weekend ---- & other things! like iron and wine on november 30th with andy! aghhdsgsdgjndfh

life has been good. taking photos/developing photos, going to school & work, being with andy, various other things. i've been happy. it's nice.

things are a little overwhelming for me right now but things are also good for me. i am building some strength in my bones, even if it isn't the easiest way. my brother is moving out in a week & i am going to move into his room & make myself a new place of sleep and relaxation and creation. it'll be good, i think. i want to take pictures and go on road trips and write and think. that is what i will do, i hope. hello!

andy & i's trip to santa cruz & monterey was amazing. so magical & perfect ---- i can't wait to wake up next to him/fall asleep with him every morning/night. i love santa cruz so much. the aquarium in monterey was the most beautiful thing. i would very much so like to spend more time in santa cruz, for sure.

recently, my life has been full of:

beautiful bikerides with my beautiful boyfriend, trips to peets & matsuyama & goodwill often, drawing, cleaning/organization, drinking 40s at sam's house & taking funny cocaine pictures, work, playing guitar, visiting alexis, listening to KMEL & KFRC! IT IS BACK YESSSSS!, collecting change in an old glass jar, spending money on getting photos developed, stomach hurting every morning because i don't eat when i take my medicine, planning, watching bro movies, feeling a tiny bit better about my body, wanting to change my hair, andy and i starting a musical project called tempura kisses (tentative) haha, preparing to make a museum of andy's beautiful art on my wall, scrubbing my face with steaming hot water before i go to sleep, knocking my toothbrush off of my nightstand every night, meeting myles' cute little girlfriend, getting lost while driving in a mystery section of oakland, naan & curry FINALLY, walks, spending lots of time in blockbuster trying to find a good movie to enjoy on numerous occasions, listening to amazing records, admiring my growing cassette tape collection, watching flowers grow in my front yard, an amazing one year anniversary and amazing one year anniversary lovemaking, listening to neil young and iron & wine constantly, basically smiling a lot and enjoying the beginning of my summer vacation. i am excited for my photography class in a week in a half. this is good!

my birthday was nice. matsuyama, peets, friends, & lots of cakes.

yesterday was one of the best days that i have had in a long time. cal skate was amazing ---- i loved everyone who came & i loved the music that they played/looking at all of the awkward teenagers' outfits/the carpeting on the walls/the cha cha slide/sweaty faces from intense skating/old town sports hang out/everythingggg. it was just great. i really love my friends and i need to see everyone more often. we need to go on adventures like this more often -- even if it is not someone's birthday. agreed? i hope so.

the band is so awesome & fun -- i want to start writing song ideas that are legit enough for this band. last night (after standing behind a keyboard and playing music for three hours) i felt high. we all looked at each other and i could see smiles in their eyes and hope in their hearts because this is an important project that i/we, my best friends, want to pursue & take places. it is important to me. we will be great.

i miss andy a lot. i can't wait until summer. adventures galore?! i think/hope so.

time to go to work and look at the clock every 10 minutes in hopes that it is close to 9:30.
